Not a hosted service
Quickbrain.dev is a static website. The product is software you install. We do not host your wiki, we do not see your transcripts, and we cannot remotely disable a copy on your disk.
Transcripts can contain secrets
A dream cycle is designed to read closed sessions from local coding harnesses. Those sessions routinely include API keys, customer names, file paths, and other private material. The cite-or-omit rule tells the agent not to copy secrets into the wiki. Agents do not always obey instructions. Treat the wiki as sensitive. Do not commit it to a public repository unless you have reviewed it.
Unattended runs
The optional nightly timer launches a coding agent with a distillation prompt. Only enable it on a machine you control. It is not a sandbox we provide. If that agent can write files, it can write files.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, security, or compliance advice. If you work under a client contract, an employer policy, or a regulation that restricts what may be stored or processed by local tools, you have to apply that policy yourself.
Availability
Source links, install commands, and harness paths may change. Detection of a harness is best-effort. Cloud-only transcript stores are skipped, not reconstructed.

“Quickbrain” is used as the name of this project. Names of other tools (Grok, Claude, Codex, Warp, Cursor, Gemini, Obsidian, and so on) belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with them unless a page says otherwise.

The MIT license’s “AS IS” disclaimer applies. If these pages and the license conflict, the license controls for the software, and this page controls for how you should think about risk.
